AI Visibility Lab ("we", "us", "our") operates the website aivislab.org and the AI Visibility Lab platform (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.
1. Information We Collect
Information you provide
- Business profile details (business name, industry, target audience, website URL, description)
- Business logo (uploaded voluntarily)
- Content generation inputs (topics, product URLs, product descriptions)
- Access code used to authenticate with the platform
Information from third-party services
- When you connect Facebook or Instagram: your public profile name, profile picture, and a secure access token to publish content on your behalf
- We do not access your private messages, friend lists, or personal posts
Usage data
- Feature usage logs (which features you use and when, for credit tracking)
- SEO audit results for domains you submit
2. How We Use Your Information
- To provide the Service: generate social media content, ad creatives, SEO audits, and marketing strategies tailored to your business
- To publish content to your connected Instagram or Facebook accounts when you explicitly request it
- To track your credit usage and enforce subscription limits
- To improve the quality and accuracy of AI-generated content
- To communicate with you about your account or the Service
3. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services to operate the platform:
- Anthropic (Claude) — AI language model used to generate content, analyse websites, and produce marketing insights. Your inputs (topics, URLs, business descriptions) are sent to Anthropic's API for processing.
- Google Vertex AI — Used to generate images for social content and ad creatives.
- Meta (Facebook / Instagram) — Used to authenticate your social accounts and publish content on your behalf. We only access the permissions you explicitly grant during the OAuth connection flow.
- Google PageSpeed Insights — Used to analyse website performance as part of SEO audits.
- Railway — Cloud hosting provider where our backend and database are deployed.
4. Data Storage and Security
- Your data is stored in a secure database hosted on Railway's infrastructure
- Social media access tokens are stored securely and are used solely for publishing content at your request
- Temporary image files created during Instagram publishing are deleted immediately after the post is published
- We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their marketing purposes
5. Data Retention
We retain your business profile and usage data for as long as your account is active. Social media access tokens expire automatically after approximately 60 days and require reconnection. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.
6. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Disconnect your Facebook or Instagram account at any time from the Business Profile page
- Request a copy of the data we hold about you
- Request deletion of your account and all associated data
- Withdraw consent for data processing at any time
If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA) or Australia, you may have additional rights under the GDPR or the Australian Privacy Act 1988 respectively.
7. Cookies
We use minimal browser storage (localStorage) to remember your access code and session preferences. We do not use third-party tracking cookies or analytics scripts.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
